Saying bye to the kitties (Angus was not impressed)
We couldn’t find Lucy for like an hour… then we found her here… just making sure we wouldn’t forget her.
We drove to Kingston, stopped to see Laura M, and then made our way to North Adams, MA to go to the Solid Sound Festival at Mass MOCCA. Super amazing!
500,000 cigarettes, arranged in a tiger carpet
Mug shots in front of Sol Le Witt
We arrived at our b&b in the middle of the night. It was a little … surprising. Maybe a little Bates motel-ish at 1 in the morning. The next morning it seemed a lot nicer. But this little lady was on the wall (with her confirmation dress!) staring at us all night … and reflected in the mirrored bed….
We left the Berkshires the next morning, went on a delicious beer and cheese tour through Vermont, avoided a tree nearly falling on us (seriously, it crashed into the road about 4 meters in front of the car), and celebrated making it through the day with our friends Duncan and Anna in Hudson. For Christine S: we drank Alchemist Heady Topper! The guy at the store gave me his personal stash because I was so sad they didn’t have any on the shelf. Hooo-eeee – it was sooo good!
